Chuck Taylor All Star Fall 2010

Converse is known for their music collaborations and for Fall 2010 they are paying tribute to two of our favourite Woodstock legends - Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.

“The Hendrix Series” takes inspiration from the album covers Electric Ladyland and Axis: Bold as Love.

Our favourite from the series is the All Star shoe with gold metallic detailing inspired by the Military Jacket Hendrix wore.

The Chuck Taylor “Janis Joplin” print honours the Rock 'n Roll icon impeccable hippie style.

A French Rendez-Vous by Lingerie Francaise

A heat alert and lack of air conditioning at Artscape Wychwood Barns proved to be the perfect backdrop for A French Rendez-Vous by Lingerie Francaise. Media and VIP’s packed the invite only event to view a preview of the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 collections from brands Chantelle, Empreinte, Passionata, Princesse tam•tam, Antinéa, Simone Pérèle, and Lise Charmel.

Hosted by Fashion Television’s Glen Baxter, the show featured ballerinas twirling parasols and a chanteuse crooning old favourites including "Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend."
