Simply Trim is a diet aid that will help you slim down your waistline at the beginning of, or during, any weight loss program. It contains two of the most exciting weight loss ingredients on the market today, Svetol® and FraxiPure®.
Svetol®, a decaffeinated green coffee bean extract rich in a health-promoting antioxidant called chlorogenic acid, is one of the few weight loss products backed by scientific research. FraxiPure® is a European Ash Seed Extract that helps you to lessen weight gain even while eating a high fat, high calorie diet.
Both Svetol® and FraxiPure®, alter the way your body uses the sugar ingested from food by inhibiting both the absorption of excess sugar by the kidneys and intestine, as well as the production of sugar by the liver. This in turn lowers blood sugar concentration and insulin output. By maintaining healthy blood sugar levels, the body will look to the fat stored in our adipose tissues for energy and that leads to weight loss.
Simply Trim is stimulant free and will not cause jitters, anxiety, racing heart rate or nausea. Just take one capsule with both your morning meal and evening meal; drink at least 8-10 glasses of water to keep body hydrated and eat a well-balanced diet rich in fibre and protein.
Available at health food stores and natural health product aisle of major grocery stores for $34.99. For more info on Simply Trim and all Renew Life products visit www.renewlife.ca

Essential Fatty Acids (EFA), like omega-3 fatty acids, are natural substances that your body needs to establish and maintain overall health. Because the typical Canadian diet is quite deficient in essential fats combined with the fact that our bodies don’t produce them – it becomes essential to take a daily fish oil supplement.
Omega-3 fats offer many health benefits including freedom from pain and inflammation, protection from stroke/heart attack, maintenance of joint health and prevention of memory loss. Regular omega-3 supplementation also helps to soothe and lubricate the bowel, easing elimination and supporting overall digestive health…and the list goes on.
Of the three most common types of omega-3 fats, the two you are probably most familiar with are eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) found in fish and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) which is found in plants. When looking for a quality fish oil supplement you want to look for higher levels of combined EPA/DHA on the label. You also want to choose a supplement that has undergone 3rd party testing for contamination and has received a 5-star rating by the International Fish Oil Standards program (IFOS).
Renew Life Norwegian Gold – Super Critical Omega is an excellent supplement choice offering maximum strength omega-3. It meets or exceeds world standards by being subject to a minimum of three purification steps to ensure the highest levels of freshness and the absence of any chemicals or toxins.
All Renew Life products can be found at health food stores, as well as in the natural health product aisle at your local grocery store or pharmacy ($28.99 for 30 capsules to $51.99 for 60 capsules). For more information on products visit www.renewlife.ca

The most serious health problem facing Canadian women is heart disease and stroke. Every year, seven times more women die of these two diseases than breast cancer. Yet, according to a recent survey by Becel, The Mom Report, 60% of Canadian moms felt they didn’t have enough time to take care of themselves because they were too busy taking care of others.
Canadian comedian and motivational speaker Jessica Holmes helps Becel, founding sponsor of The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s The Heart TruthTM Campaign, encourage moms to place just as much importance on their our own health and well-being as they do for loved ones.
Having already lost a grandmother to heart disease, Jessica understands the facts all too well, “Heart disease and stroke is the number one killer of Canadian women. The good news is that we can lower that statistic by as much as 80% by just remembering to take care of ourselves a little bit more and remembering that taking good care of our kids includes taking care of our own health.”
During her years on Royal Canadian Air Farce, she had two children – this is when a hectic schedule began to affect her health. “Doing 12 hours days was not a sustainable way to take care of me and my family and I had to figure out a balance between work and home – that was part of the reason why I left the show.”
Jessica started to make changes in her lifestyle choices but soon realized that she was setting her goals too high and could not reach them – like cutting out ALL junk food or going to the gym three times a week. She decided to set more attainable goals – like replacing some of the junk food in her diet with better choices or taking an extra five minutes in the day to walk her kids to school. Her plan worked – this last year she has lost over a dozen lbs and now feels healthier and happier.
“Getting a bit of balance in my life and getting over the terrible guilt that us working moms feel – it was a bit of an uphill battle. Now that I have figured it out, I just want to shout it from the mountain top!”
Jessica encourages you to share Becel’s new video link with your girlfriends. To access your risk for heart disease and stroke visit www.thehearttruth.ca.
